Samuel Cooper, 43, was indicted on Thursday, March 23, for attempted murder in connection with the random attack, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
The brick was tied in a t-shirt during the attack near Iowa Avenue on Jan. 6, they said.
In addition, Cooper was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, the prosecutor said.
